LICENSURE AND DISCIPLINARY MATTERS - We have vast experience of representing professional licensees in investigations by Florida's governmental agencies such as the Agency for Health Care Administration, the Department of Health, and the Boards of Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, Dentistry, Chiropractic and Nursing. We have experience before the various regulatory boards and hearings before the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings. We have represented clients in investigations and disciplinary proceedings concerning violation of professional practice acts, pharmacy laws, Medicaid investigations and the Florida Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.

HEALTH CARE CORPORATE/TRANSACTIONAL AND REGULATORY SERVICES - We provide services in Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement appeals and certification, compliance programming, fraud and abuse as well as false claims issues and investigations, facility licensure, accreditation and certification, physician practice acquisitions, medical staff matters, including bylaws, credentialing, peer review and disciplinary hearings, patient rights issues and hospital related matters, state and federal regulatory issues including patient dumping, Stark self-referral laws, Florida's Patient Self-Referral Act, as well as the state and federal anti-kickback regulations, federal, state and local tax, and mergers and acquisitions. We have represented clients in numerous business transactions and arrangements that implicate the federal and state laws that are unique to the delivery of and participation in the health care system.

PHYSICIAN GROUPS - We represent many physician groups in general business and corporate concerns affecting all health care professionals. We provide counsel on all types of contracts relating to health care, employment and staff matters, tax, real estate and litigation issues.
